Sometimes you might get the feeling when you look at the projected image that you are missing something. It might not be just a feeling; your projector could be clipping some of the image. Your projector may need to be aligned; it’s fairly easy to align a projector using free template in jpeg and Keypoint or PowerPoint format.
Below is a Jpeg or PowerPoint file that will help you align your projector. Click on the image below to download the file. There is a thin white boarder around the edge, and four circles in the corners that quickly identify how much is being clipped. If you cannot see the white edges, then the projected image is being cropped. This can cause things to look off-center and potentially clip text and images.

One of the new features to Keypoint is the Online Image Searching feature. This feature allows you to find that perfect picture or background to make your slide just right, all from within Keypoint.
To use the feature you need to have access to the internet from the PC you are using.
NOTE: Please be aware that many images contain copyright and it is your responsibility to ensure you are not using images illegally.
- From the “Task Pane” select with “Images from Online” or “Backgrounds from Online”
- Enter in what you are looking for and then click the “Search” button.
- To change the search service you are using select the drop down list.
- To add a picture to your slide, simply drag-n-drop it from your search results on to your slide.
NOTE: For some images you may need to navigate to the actual source in order to use the drag-n-drop feature.
